Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text. When you save deals, we store the financial inputs you enter.

How we use your information

We use your email address solely to identify your account and send password reset links when requested. We do not use it for marketing unless you explicitly opt in. We use your saved deal data to display it back to you in your dashboard.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is HttpOnly and Secure, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript and is only sent over HTTPS. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies beyond Google AdSense (if enabled).

Google AdSense

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads.

Data security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a work factor of 12. All data is stored in Supabase with row-level security. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

Data retention

Your account and deal data is retained until you request deletion. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@flipitpropertycalculator.com.
